The room fights the system
A calibrated system in an untreated room still measures badly at the seats. The equipment gets blamed for what the room is doing.
Bass that changes seat to seat
Room modes put a peak at one seat and a null at the next. No amount of processing fixes a null.
Noise complaints after handover
Isolation is a construction decision. If it wasn't designed in, it can't be added afterwards without opening the build-up.
No evidence at handover
Without a before and after, a client has only their impression to go on — and impressions move.
